New Features available for you to benefit from:

Included in this release are the following features:

  • New Version of QaSCRIBE: Support for Chrome and Firefox

    We have notified you last week about the new version of QaSCRIBE.

    We strongly recommend you to upgrade your QaSCRIBE to the new version right away. Support for the previous version of QaSCRIBE will stop within a week. So, please upgrade. It takes a minute to upgrade.

    Don't worry. You old credentials will continue to work with the new QaSCRIBE.

    Here are a few important articles that will help you install the new version and make use of it.




  • QaCONNECT REST API enhancement: GET Summary of Results for a Test Run now includes Root Cause for Failure and Test Cycle Information
  • The QaCONNECT REST Service that many of you use to download the results of a test is enhanced to include additional valuable information like the root cause(s) for the test's failure and information about the test cycle within which the test was executed.

  • QaCONNECT REST API enhancement:  Ability to assign Labels to Data Files and Files that are uploaded through REST
  • The QaCONNECT REST Service that is used to upload into your Worksoft SaaS domain the data files and files is enhanced to assign 'labels' to the data files and files being uploaded.




  • Analytics enhancement: Test Outcomes Transaction Details Report for Functional/Regression Testing 

    The Test Cycle level 'Test Outcomes Transaction Details Report' for the 'Functional/Regression Testing' is enhanced to improve its usability and now includes a new section (worksheet) that provides you with detail on all transactions that failed during the test execution.

    The Test Cycle Summary (the first worksheet of the report) includes a listing of the reports that are available for you to access from the other worksheets using a hyperlink. Other information on the Test Cycle Summary sheet is organized to provide you a clear difference between the test cycle execution time window and the cumulative execution time of all the test runs that executed within the test cycle.


  • Analytics enhancement: A separate 'Subscription Capacity Utilization Report' for 'Performance Testing'

    For those of you that are using Worksoft SaaS for Performance Testing your applications, included in this release is a new/separate Capacity Utilization Report for the Capacity you have within your subscription for Performance Testing.


  • Productivity Improvement :: Test Scripts' Add/Edit Instruction screen :: Linkage to the Command Reference in the Worksoft SaaS Knowledge Base

    Edit Instruction of a Test Script now links to Command Reference in the Worksoft SaaS Knowledge Base.

    As you know the Command Reference in the Worksoft SaaS Knowledge Base is richer in format and content. When you are adding/editing a Test Instruction within your Test Script, you can access the command reference on the Worksoft SaaS Knowledge Base.

    To access the online command reference, just look for and click on the graphical icon shown below:
