Included in this release are the following features:
- Worksoft SaaS Analytics Configuration: Browser wise options for Testing Platforms in Functional/Regression Testing.
The Worksoft SaaS domain administrations will now have the added advantage of customizing the "Test Outcomes" of Functional/ Regression Testing in the Analytics Configuration of a Project. You can now select from the following under the Testing Platforms as child labels.
- OS Version,
- Browser Version,
- DeviceType - Device
- DeviceType - Device - OSVersion - BrowserVersion
- Worksoft SaaS Analytics Configuration: Additional tab to view the System labels and User Created labels for the Project
As you are aware the Test Outcomes are based on Environment, Test Cycles, Run Definition, Application Modules as well as Labels. Labels that are part of the Project can be viewed from the "Analytics Configuration for Project" overlay. This feature will help you know the available labels in the Project and configure the Test Outcomes hierarchy accordingly.
You can create new labels and upload bulk labels using CSV, however you cannot assign labels to the entities from this screen.
- Data-Driven: Download your Data Files from the Edit/View Data File screen
Download the Data File from the Edit/View Screen without going back to the Data File Home Screen. The Download button is available next to the Activate button when you Edit/View a Data File.
- System Variables: Productivity Improvement to support the Testing Context Key & Run Id
System Variable - "RunId" in the Automation Asset is now enhanced to store the Testing Context Key + Run Id. It previously stored the RunId only. Now, all you need to do is store Target value as "#SV{RunId}" to get the current executing Test Run, Testing Context Key and Run Id. The output format would be: "Z255LMB-446114".
A use case where this would help you is to fetch the Summary of the TestRun during the execution using QaCONNECT REST API.
