New Features available for you to benefit from: 

Included in this release are the following features:
  • Test Automation Commands for Team Notifications, Alerts and Collaboration:

    • As part of this release, 22 powerful new test automation commands (constructs) are being supported to help you implement (within your automated tests) alerts and notifications about test execution outcomes that facilitate you in collaborating within and across teams in your organization. For now, 'email' is the mechanism by which notifications can be sent. In the near future, support for 'Slack' will also be added.

  • Test Scripts Home Screen: Enhancement in the status of the Test Script

    • A cue on the Test Scripts home screen that shows there exists an Active version of the WIP. If the Test Script you are editing is Active and it creates a WIP, then it shows the "WIP of Active" for the edited Test Script. So far, you could only see the versions as WIP or Active for a Test Script. In case there exists another version of the Test Script, this information is available only in "Additional Info" after you view/edit the Test Script or look up with the status.

  • New Parameter "refresh" for the Test Cycle Level Test Outcomes report(s) generate service. 

    • In the last release, we have introduced the new service to generate Test Cycle Level Test Outcomes Report(s) using Worksoft SaaS QaCONNECT REST API services. In this release, an enhancement to that service wherein a parameter "refresh" is added. With this, you may regenerate reports for a Test Cycle for the reports that failed to generate or have been generated before.

    In the DOCS page for the Worksoft SaaS QaCONNECT REST API, within the table of contents, there is a new section captioned "Analytics" that lists the new service:

  • Productivity Enhancement: Test Cycle Email Notification Template

    • The Test Cycle Email Notification template is enhanced to provide in detail information about the Tests that are part of the Test Cycle.

    The Test Runs Count by Execution status will give the information about the Runs completed with Failure and Completed without Failures in addition to the existing statues.
