Included in this release are the following features:

  • New Commands: Commands to get the Row Index and Row Values of a Data File during the Test Execution.

Two new commands are introduced in this release, these are part of 'Commands for Array Creation and Manipulation'. These commands help in retrieving the row index and row values of a particular value in a specific column.

These new commands have many use cases. One of the use cases is to load the test data with the filtered data rows based on the column Name and column Value during the Test Execution. As part of data-driven Tests, Worksoft SaaS allows you to filter your test data for your automation tests. With these commands introduced in this release, you can dynamically filter the test data within the test execution and read the filtered values instead of using the data-driven test feature. This is the filter specific to the column Name and Value that you are particularly looking.
  • Worksoft SaaS Analytics Configuration: Productivity improvement to select the Scenario's and Test Script's as part of the hierarchy Configuration at the Project level

In this release, you now have the scope to expand the granularity of the Test Runs outcomes by selecting the Test Cycle level Test outcomes 'By Scenario' as well as 'By Test Script'. Until now, in the Test Cycle level Test Outcomes you have the ability to drill down to the level of Run Definition and Labels.

  • Analytics: Enhancement to include 'By User' level Capacity reports Project level in the category 'Subscription Usage'

    2. by User
    3. by Testing Purpose
    4. by Automation State
    5. by Testing Purpose by Test Outcome
    6. by Automation State by Test Outcome
    7. by Browser & OS Platform

'By User' level reports will provide an insight into the capacity consumed by each user with the specific project.

  • Labels Module: Productivity improvement to support two level child labels for the Worksoft SaaS system created 'Labels'.

By default for any all the projects there are 10 root labels created by Worksoft SaaS. These are the system created labels that cannot be deleted. Within these 10 labels, each has one level down child labels that are used to map to your automation entities. some of these labels are also used to generate Test Cycle Level Test Outcomes and Project Level Test Outcomes. With this release, you have the support to create another level within the first child label making that to support for two levels of labels within the system created labels.  In the coming releases, expanding the scope to show the Test cycle Level Test outcomes with the support of two-level labels, right now within the Worksoft SaaS Analytics Configurations the hierarchy can be customized to show the first level root labels as part of reports
