Included in this release are the following features:

• Productivity Improvement: Provision to search the commands in the commands dropdown in the Test Scripts module.
  

  Earlier, there is no provision to search for a command in the Edit Test Script page and thereby forcing you to select the command from the dropdown. Now, from this release, you can search for the specific command by entering the command name or with the shortcut. For example, if you have to select 'addLocationStrategy/addLocationStrategyAndWait', you can enter 'aLS' as shown below:

  
  
• New Improvement: Changes to the QaCONNECT Analytics Report generation service for providing access to unauthorized users
  

As you are aware that you can generate the Test Cycle Test Outcomes report and those reports can be accessed within the Worksoft SaaS application. Here on, even the users who are not authorized to access the Worksoft SaaS application can download the reports of the respective Test Cycle with the link provided in the email.

Few additional parameters are added to the service to use this feature.

• disableForUnauthorizedUsers: This is an optional parameter upon setting as 'false', allows the unauthorized users to access the respective Test Cycle Test Outcomes report. By default, the value will be set to 'True'.
• disableAtSpecificDatetime: You can optionally specify any one of the two parameters 'disableAtSpecificDatetime' and 'disableAfterSpecificDuration' when 'disableForUnauthorizedUsers' parameter is set to false. The value you pass to this parameter will allow access to the link to be removed after the specific date time. The valid format which this parameter accepts is 'MMM DD YYYY HH: MM'. In this format, hours and minutes are optional. For example: "Mar 10 2019 14:00"
• disableAfterSpecificDuration: You can optionally specify any one of the two parameters 'disableAtSpecificDatetime' and 'disableAfterSpecificDuration' when 'disableForUnauthorizedUsers' parameter is set to false. The value you pass to this parameter will allow access to the link to be removed after the duration specified is elapsed. The valid format which this parameter accepts is 'HH:MM:SS'. For example: "00:45:30"

Once the request is sent using the QaCONNECT service, you will receive an email notification with the link, when the report generation is completed.




Upon clicking the link, you will be redirected to the page with the respective Test Cycle Test Outcomes report on providing the email id in the notification recipients or else you will be redirected to the Analytics module of the Worksoft SaaS application on providing the username in the notification recipients.




In this way, anyone can view the specific report within the specified duration and if the duration time gets expired, a popup will be shown on clicking the link in the email notification as shown below.
