Release Notes - 20 May 2019

New Features available for you to benefit from:

Included in this release are the following features:

  • Productivity Improvement:: Support for Dynamic Binding and Dynamic Filters using QaSCRIBE.
  • From this release, you can execute the test runs with dynamic binding and dynamic filters using QaSCRIBE and make the necessary changes before scheduling the runs of the cloud platforms.

  • Productivity Improvement:: Display of User-Defined, System-Defined and Local Variables in the Execution Results tab.

Until now, we had support to display the variables for the local executions using QaSCRIBE. From this release, you can enjoy this benefit for the cloud executions as well. This feature allows you to view the run time value of the 'variable' used at the Target/Value field. If a variable is used in the Target/Value field, you can see the actual value by using the Variable Inspector icon placed next to the command in the Command field.

  • Productivity Improvement:: Provision to create an empty dataset for command 'ddGetRowValuesByColumnValue.

From this release, you create an empty dataset for command 'ddGetRowValuesByColumnValue' if there are no filtered data rows. On creating the empty dataset, you can use it to get the row count by using command 'ddGetRowCount'.

Earlier, the command would get failed, if there are no data rows retrieved.
