Receive Automated (Push) Notifications By Email or To Your Slack Channel(s)
When you hover on the below icon in the Test Cycles module home screen, you will be shown a tooltip that you can choose to specify how you want to receive the automatic push notifications ‘By Email’ or ‘By Slack’
Note: If your project is not integrated with Slack, then, the "By Slack" button will be in a disabled state. To get this enabled, you must configure Slack integration for your project. Please click here for more information on how to accomplish that.
When you hover on the "By Slack" button, the below message is shown.
After setting up the notifications either "By Email/By Slack", you will see a "Confirmation Request" pop up, on which you may need to click on the "Ok" button to receive the notifications.
If you had selected "By Email", then the Test Cycle Summary will be sent to the mailboxes of the email ids mentioned. Below is a screenshot of the Test Cycle Summary on email:
If you had selected "By Slack", then the Test Cycle Summary notification will be sent to your Slack Channel(s). Below is a screenshot of the Test Cycle Summary as posted (pushed) into your Slack Channel:
You can also receive these notifications using QaCONNECT - REST API services.
Below mentioned statuses can be retrieved:
1. Schedule Call
2. Mark Complete
3. Get Execution Status
1. Schedule Call: By using this service, you can receive the notification which gives you the information of the test run once it gets completed (the status could be Completed w/ failures, Completed w/o failures, Aborted, etc.,).

1. Schedule Call: By using this service, you can receive the notification which gives you the information of the test run once it gets completed (the status could be Completed w/ failures, Completed w/o failures, Aborted, etc.,).
2. Mark Complete: By using this service, a Test Cycle window gets automatically closed and gives the summary of the Test Cycle through email/slack, only when the cycle is completed.
3. Get Execution Status: By using this service, you can retrieve the current status of the Test Cycle through email/slack.
