Included in this release are the following features:

• Productivity Improvement :: Changes to the Search functionality in the Test Runs Home Screen 

  The 'Search' in the Test Runs Home screen has been enhanced with additional functionality.

  Until now, you were able to view the filtered results with the search criteria in expanded mode.

  With this release, you can view the filtered results with the search criteria in collapsed mode having the search filter(s) retained unless you click on the 'Clear Search Filter' icon which is shown just before the search icon as shown below:

  
  

  Unless you click on the 'Clear Search Filter' icon, the filter(s) performed for the search would be retained.

• Productivity Improvement :: Provision to perform search based on 'Batch Label' in Test Runs Home screen and visualization with new icon for the runs executed with priorities/dependencies

  This is an improvement to the feature (Test Executions through QaCONNECT- Priority/Dependency) which has gone live last week where you can see a new field named 'Batch Label' being added In the Search criteria in the Test Runs Home screen which allows you to filter the test runs which are tagged to a batch label. This will help you in filtering the results wrt batch label. The 'Batch label' is generally used while scheduling test runs with any priorities/dependencies.

  
  

  The runs executed with dependencies are now clearly differentiated with a new icon for the test cycle identifier having test runs linked to a batch label in both Test Runs Home and Test Execution Results screens.
  

  

• Productivity Improvement :: Provision to view/download the Video for Worksoft SaaS Real Devices Cloud Platform

  You can view/download the video for the test runs executed on the Worksoft SaaS Cloud Platform. There is an option provided for you below the 'Screen Capture' in the Testing Context popup. Once the option is selected, you can view or download the video once the test run gets completed as shown below.

  
  

• Productivity Improvement :: Provision to trigger notifications for both Email and Slack notifications via QaCONNECT

  As you are aware that you can trigger the notifications to email and slack by passing the parameter as '01' or '02' one by one. But from this release, you can have the notifications be triggered for both 'Email' and 'Slack' at a time by specifying the parameter as '01,02' in the 'executionStatusNotificationMethods'  parameter in the request JSON.

  To implement this functionality, there are few changes wrt the parameters in the request JSON.

  Below are the parameters that are renamed and are available in the docs page.

  • ‘notificationRecipients’ to ‘notificationRecipientsForEmail’
  • 'notificationMethodCode' to 'executionStatusNotificationMethods'
  • 'mergeEmailNotifications' to 'notificationDistributionTrigger'
  
  The options that are available for the parameter 'notificationDistributionTrigger' are:
  01 - Two separate notifications will be triggered after the Test Cycle execution completion and Test Cycle Report Generation completion

  02 - Only a single notification will be triggered after the Test Cycle execution completion and Test Cycle Report Generation completion
