Release Notes - 10 Feb 2020
Included in this release are the following features:
- Provision of viewing the manual User-Defined Variables in the Data Binding tab of Scenario/Run Definition screen
Before this release, whenever you execute the tests with dynamic binding for making any changes to the User-Defined Variables, you need to jump through multiple steps to make the required changes.
To make things easy, Worksoft SaaS has a provision to allow for "manual" User-Defined Variables in the RD/Scenario Data Binding screen. To allow for the manual UDV's, ensure to set the default setting in the new tab 'Run Definitions' in the 'My Project Settings'. Enabling this setting will allow for selecting Manual UDV's in addition to the Dynamic Variables in the User Defined Variable dropdown of the Data Binding tab of Scenarios/Run Definitions.
Also, please note that only the 'Project Lead' can perform the enabling/disabling this setting.

- A new 'Flaky Test Auto Reruns by Worksoft AI/ML' Excel Report at Test Cycle level
The previous releases of Worksoft SaaS offered you the provision auto re-triggering of the failed tests based on the assignment of the Root Cause for Failure Labels using AI/ML. To view the information on how many tests were re-triggered by Worksoft AI/ML, to find the root cause labels and additional capacity utilized by these tests you would have to collate information from multiple screens i..e Test Runs Home, Test Cycles Home and /or Executions Results tab.
With this release Worksoft SaaS allows for viewing all the information together at a single place, i.e. a new Excel Report is now introduced in the Worksoft SaaS Analytics module under Test Cycle Test Outcomes Report(s). This report gives you the information about the counts and the capacity consumed by the re-executed runs.
Please note that you can view this new report by generating the Test Cycle Test Outcomes Reports. To more about the Auto re-execution of Test Run Failures, click here.
- Support of 'ddPersistDatasetToDataFileTemporary ' command to perform Dynamic Binding by performing local executions using QaSCRIBE
To perform the dynamic binding in the local executions using QaSCRIBE, 'ddPersistDatasetToDataFileTemporary' command is now supported to execute the tests locally using QaSCRIBE.
