Release Notes - 17 Feb 2020

New Features available for you to benefit from:

Included in this release are the following features:

  • Changes to the Test Cycles Home to show the Re-Executed Test Runs information

Worksoft SaaS uses AI/ML to schedule tests from a batch when it determines that the test has failed because of some intermittent issues such as flakiness. When such re-executions happen, Worksoft SaaS will automatically tag the re-scheduled tests to the same Test Cycle. If you as well re-execute some tests (upon debugging and fixing issues) and assign to the same Test Cycle, you may have some challenges in finding how many of the re-executions have happened and who have done that. From this release, this information is made available in the Test Cycles List page. A blue triangular ribbon is shown on the top right of the Actual Window. Upon clicking on this ribbon will display the Re-Executions Start Time, End Time, Duration and Capacity consumed as shown below.

  • Enhanced way of adding comments to the instructions of the Test Scripts

While editing a Test Script, if you intend to add a comment for a specific instruction, you are to select the next instruction to the one in question. And this is little unintuitive.  With this release the behaviour of "Add New Comment" feature is modified. Now upon clicking on "Add New Comment" the comment line is added above the instruction.

Also, please note that the existing comments would remain in the same position whereas when you add a new comment from now will now get added above the instruction.
