Module # | 2. Experience Data-Driven Testing in Worksoft SaaS |
Lesson # | 7. Executing tests using Data-driven Testing by Data Files |
Average Time to Complete | 3 - 5 mins |
Summary:
In this lesson, we have focused on the below features/concepts:
- How to use a data file containing multiple test data and
- Parameterize the Data Definition of the Data File to the Test Script
- Execute test by binding the Data File to the Run Definition
- How to override the Data File in the Data Binding Screen using the Test Runner/Scheduler
- How to use multiple Data Files at a time for executions using the Test Runner/Scheduler
Evaluate the Learning Experience:
- By using Data File, we can easily increase test coverage, as Data File can support large sets of data.
- By using Data File overrides, we can easily replace the original Data File that is bound in the Bind Data Summary Screen and also by using multiple Data Files we can easily execute multiple Data Files with just one trigger.
