Introduction of Worksoft SaaS Feature/Concept :: Lesson 3 :: Topic 6

1. Execution Results
Once the Test executions are complete, we can see the duration of each test in the Key Results section.

The Outcomes section displays the Execution Results. Clicking the hyperlink of an individual run takes you to the Execution tab of the respective Run Definition.

This shows you:
  1. Test Summary and Documentation
  2. Test Details

2. Execution Results - Test Summary
The Test Summary gives you an outline of the Test in terms of who executed the tests, what platforms were used in the test, when was it scheduled, along with the Status of the Test. The below sub-features are available in the Test Summary:

Test Execution Statistics: Displays the number of tests at Instruction, Test Script and Scenario level. These bars are displayed in green if all tests have passed or red if some tests have failed.            Above each bar, counts are shown in x/y format. Here "x" indicates the number of Instructions/Test Scripts/Scenarios that passed and the "y" indicates failed Instructions/Test Scripts/Scenarios. If you mouse over on each bar, you can also see the percentage of Instructions/Test Scripts/Scenarios passed and failed.

Asset Viewer: Assets are screenshots, videos, log files that are selected while creating Testing Context and they can be viewed here. Assets can be useful for understanding failures and Triage.      For example 1. Is the test instruction incorrectly created 2. Is the AUT Broken etc. and for reporting issues to your development team.

Download Results: In the "Download Results" section, there are 2 reports available after the test execution is completed, one for downloading the excel report and the other for PDF reports.
Viewing the results of multiple test runs without navigating away from the Results page:
If your test had multiple testing contexts that generated multiple test runs, you will be able to switch between the runs.

3. Execution Results - Test Details
The "details" section of the test execution results page has many tools that allow you to rapidly view and analyze the test execution

Run the test again: In case you want to re-execute the test on the same testing context, for any reason, you can re-run the test and a new Test Run will be created.

Expand/Collapse: From the Summary view, you can check the test execution details at all levels by expanding Run Definition to Scenario to Test Scripts. You can also expand to see the duration from the Summary level to each entity level.

Statistics presented at each entity: Test Scripts with passed vs failed at the Scenario level; Instructions with passed vs failed at Test Script level; Timings at each entity.
You can also see the duration of execution at a Scenario or Test Script level
