Locking Test Scripts

1. Locking Test Scripts
Now that we understand the lock/unlock feature, we will Save the Test Script and also Lock it.
    
       
2. Practice
  1. On the Test Script Name, click on the last button that looks like a user.
  2. If you hover on it, it should now say 'The Script is locked for edit by you and others will not be able to edit them'
  3. To validate the lock activation, go to the Test Script Library Notice the icon right next to Test Script status. Edit the Test Script and you can see the person profile icon in red. If you mouse over on this icon, you can see who locked it and when was this locked.
  4. If a test script is locked for edit by one of your peers, you will see a red-colored person profile icon within the many icons that appear on the top right-hand side o the test script name on the edit or view test script screen. You can mouse over that icon to know who locked it and when.
