Encrypt/Decrypt Instructions

Mapping the Worksoft SaaS feature to the Course Context :: Lesson 10:: Topic 6
1. Locking Test Scripts
In our Test Script, we have the user's personal data and financial data. While in this case its a dummy data and although we don't have an absolute need to encrypt values for this dummy data, we have included this feature here, for you to experience the functionality and in this case, we will be using the Instruction level encryption.
2. Practice
- On the Test Script, Scroll down to Instructions.
- Encrypt 'Age'. Double click to expand the instruction, go to the value field and click the lock button.
- Notice that the value field no longer shows the Age and the icon changes to 'locked'
- Ensure that the value remains encrypted as we want you to see the encrypted value after execution, in the Execution Results page.
3. Temporary Decryption
- Click the Temporary Decryption icon on the Value field.
- Notice how you are able to see the value but cannot edit it.
