1. Triaging Failure #1: Incorrect value provided in the Data filter
In this Run, we will deliberately choose an incorrect filter value to see the validation fail and we will then review the Status & Error Message. For this, we will go to the UDV and in "State_Code" UDV which we use as a part of a Data Filter, change the filter value to US. Actually, in the Data file, we only have NJ, NY, and PA as State Codes, hence when we apply this filter on my Data file to run the test, it will fail.

2. Practice
  1. Click Menu and click "User-Defined Variables"
  2. Edit the User Defined Variable "State_Code" and replace the value as US in respective to Production Environment
  3. Click Save to Save the Value in User Defined Variable
  4. Click Menu and click Run Definitions.
  5. Click Vertical Ellipsis and click Execute "Verify HICC calculations (UDV Filters on Data File)".
  6. Select a Testing Context w.r.t Production Environment and click on "Execute" button
  7. Observe the test run status "Preprocessing Failed"
  8. Hover on the 'i' icon beside the status
  9. Observe the error message "In Scenario 2, for Iterations of Test Script # 1, no data exists in the 'Filtered' Data File "HICC - 1 Zip code or state in 3 States"
  10. Observe the error message
