Included in this release are the following features:

• Opening Analytical Reports for a Specific Test Cycle from Test Cycle level Email Notifications
  

  Many of you requested for the inclusion of a hyperlink, within the test cycle test execution completion email notifications and the test cycle analytical reports generation completion email notifications, which when clicked opens a specific test cycle within the Quality > Test Cycle Level report hierarchy. With this release you have that productivity enhancing ability.

  
  

  As you very well know, in addition to the "automated" email notifications you can configure to receive at the completion of execution of all tests within a test cycle or at the completion of the generation of analytical reports for a specific test cycle, Worksoft SaaS also allows you to request email notification on an "ad hoc" basis at any point of time directly from within the Worksoft SaaS application. The direct hyperlink to the test cycle level test outcomes for a specific test cycle is also included in the emails you receive when you request emails 'ad hoc' from within the Worksoft SaaS application.

  

  Please note however that if the test cycle level test outcomes reports have NOT yet been generated so far but you requested a summary email notification 'ad hoc' from within the Worksoft SaaS application then the email notification you receive from Worksoft SaaS will NOT include the direct link to the test cycle level test outcomes analytical reports for the specific test cycle. But, that email will include the other information about the test cycle including the counts of tests by test execution status.

• Project-level and User-level "Setting" for pre-configuration of Email Recipients for Test Cycle Level Email Notifications
  

  So far, the recipients of the test cycle level email notifications had to be passed as input to the QaCONNECT REST API (when you schedule the tests to be scheduled as part of a test cycle or the generation of the test cycle level outcomes analytics reports) or to the data files that feed into the Test Runner/Scheduler. With this release, you can pre-configure the email recipients using a 'Setting' that is available within the 'My Project-level Settings & Preferences'. This new setting is available within a tab captioned 'Test Cycles' (see below).

  

  As with any other setting, this new setting can also be set only by the Project Lead of a project or can be configured by a Project Lead to be set at an individual/personal level for each User that has access to that project. The default configuration for this setting is for only the Project Lead to set the value of the email recipients that should receive email notifications at the test cycle level. It is strongly recommended that this default configuration is left as is. However, if you do have a specific use case wherein if a specific user requests "automated" email notifications via QaCONNECT or "ad hoc" within the Worksoft SaaS application, the emails go out to one set of email recipients but when some other user requests the emails, the email notifications go out to another set of email recipients, the Project Lead can allow individual users that have access to a project to set value for this new setting.
