Release Notes - 6 Jul 2020
Included in this release are the following features:
- Miscellaneous Enhancements to Functionality related to the Issue Store and Atlassian Jira integration
Several new menu options are added to the Issue Store screen to support new functionality and productivity improvements.
- Ability to create an issue in the project level Worksoft SaaS Issue Store directly from the Issue Store screen: So far you were only able to create a new issue in the Issue store from the test execution results screen in the context of specific test run. This new feature will allow you to create an issue in the Issue Store directly from the Issue Store screen. While creating a new issue you can optionally link to one or more test runs that experienced failures. Just click on the 'Create' button on the top right hand side of the issue listing to create a new issue in the Worksoft SaaS Issue Store.
- Ability to create an issue in the Worksoft SaaS Issue Store from issues that already exist within Atlassian Jira: This feature will allow you to create Issue(s) in the Worksoft SaaS Issue Store from one or more issues that already exist within your Atlassian Jira account. This functionality was previously only supported from the Test Execution Results screen in the context of a specific test run.
- Ability to link an issue in the Worksoft SaaS Issue Store to one or more Test Runs within the project: This feature will allow you to link an Issue in the Worksoft SaaS Issue Store to one or more Test Runs that experienced failed outcomes during execution.
- Ability to delink an issue in the Worksoft SaaS Issue Store from one or more Test Runs within the project: This feature will allow you to delink an Issue in the Worksoft SaaS Issue Store from one or more Test Runs that experienced failed outcomes during execution to which it is currently linked.
- Ability to delete an issue in the Worksoft SaaS Issue Store: This feature will allow you to delete an Issue in the Worksoft SaaS Issue Store. This feature will also simultaneously delink the issue being deleted from the Test Runs that it is linked to.
- Consolidated Triage Report - Inclusion of additional metrics about Auto Triage and Flakiness for a Test Cycle
The sheet "Auto_Triage_Summary" within the "Consolidated Triage Report" has been enhanced to include additional metrics about the Auto Triage. A new section "Worksoft AI/ML Assignment Summary" has been added to depict the distribution of test runs for which root cause of failure has been auto assigned by Worksoft AI/ML by range of match accuracy percentage range.
The sheet "Flaky_Test_Auto_Reruns_Detail" within the same "Consolidated Triage Report" has been enhanced to include additional metrics about the Flakiness, if any, that is experienced by the test runs that got executed within the test cycle. A new section "Flakiness Summary" has been added to quantify and qualify the flakiness.
The 'Original State' column corresponds to the test runs that have been originally scheduled for execution within the test cycle. This column will not include any test runs that may have been auto-triggered for re-execution by Worksoft AI/ML to overcome flakiness of test outcomes and any test runs that may have been manually re-run by the users. The 'Current State (Reportable Only)' column includes metrics about the all test runs executed within the test cycle including those that were originally scheduled for execution, those that were Worksoft AI/ML auto-re-executed, those that were manually triggered for re-execution by the users MINUS those runs for which the 'do not show on reports' root cause of failure is set.
