Release Notes - 7 Mar 2022

New Features available for you to benefit from:
  • Test Cycles module enhancements

The default search criteria have been changed as follows:

    • The Start and End dates for the "Planned Window" are set so that the test cycles that have a planned window within the last one week will show up by default.

    • "Status" is defaulted to "All" so that test cycles that are Open as well as Closed will show up.

In addition, when you click on any of the hyperlinked counts in the last column of the test cycles listing to drill-down to the test runs listing, that listing will now open in a new browser tab. This will make it easy for you to switch back to the test cycle listing (in the browser tab) easily.

  • Scheduling enhancements

So far, you were able to define dependencies between batches of test runs executions based on the test run statuses being 'completed with failures', 'completed without failures', 'aborted', 'system aborted'.

With this release you will be able to also define dependencies using the preprocessing statuses. This will allow subsequent tests to be picked up for execution even if a small subset of the tests in the dependent batch failed during pre-processing.
