Introduction

Overview

Worksoft SaaS allows for you to schedule tests in bulk and repetitive manner by using the concept of scheduling Test Cycles. Worksoft SaaS provides multiple approaches to schedule a test cycle.

Using Data Files:
For scheduling tests in a Test Cycle, you need to create two data files, a mandatory requirement and one options data file. Data files that need to be created are
  • Test Cycle Runner Inputs. Refer to article here for more details
  • Application Test Driver Inputs. Refer to article here for more details
  • Application Test Batch Dependency Configuration. Refer to article here for more details
Once you have these pre-requisites accomplished, you can schedule test cycles. Refer to the article here to learn and understand how to schedule test cycles.

Using Configuration based Re-execution of Tests
You can use this concept if there are already one or more test cycles that were scheduled and executed and you need to re-run some or all of the runs in the same test cycle or new test cycle.
