Based on these and mainly the traffic that is usually on the AUT usage, we decide of the concurrency of our performance test. 500 Concurrency? 1000? 2000??.. and for how long shoud this traffic simulation (perf test) be up and running.

Here, we can decide on the max frequency of the test, concurrency (number of hits per sec/minute) and average test duration (1 hour or 2 hour)..

Performance testers, depend on the business teams to give the idea about the concurrent user load required for the application to be tested.
