Rebranding of the eureQa Platform

We are excited to share with you exciting news!

eureQa SaaS platform is relaunched with Worksoft branding in response to its corporate vision. At the heart of this rebranding is a simple change of the company name to Worksoft and an update to the corporate logo.

The new brand identity embodies the renewed energy, enthusiasm, and sense of purpose of all its employees, indicative of a company on the move. It marks another major milestone in the evolution of eureQa, and our fresh-and forward-looking approach to the market. As the organization continues to look ahead, creating a strong parent brand in the marketplace is essential while ensuring the new identity matches the innovative technology firm the company is actively becoming.

Please be assured that this release does not include any changes to the functionality behind the platform that you and your teams currently rely on for your test automation needs. Also note that the credentials you currently use to login into the platform will continue to work for you. All your projects, users, test automation artifacts, test cycles, results, reports will remain intact.

We would like you to familiarize yourself with the following changes:

URL to access your domain
The URL you use to access the eureQa platform will change from https://yourdomain.eureqatest.com to https://yourdomain.web.worksoft.cloud.

For example, if your domain is "acme", the new URL to access your account will be https://acme.web.worksoft.cloud instead of https://acme.eureqatest.com.

On or about Nov 12th, we request you and your teams to change the bookmarks, if any, added into your web browsers to reflect this change.

Please note, for your convenience however, that until the end of January 2023, even if you access the account using the old URL, you will automatically be redirected to the new format URL.

Customer Support Email
The email address for customer support will change from support@eureqatest.com to saas_support@worksoft.com.

If you or your team typically report issues using the "report an issue" online form built into the eureQa platform, you do not have to do anything additional or different to report issues.

If you instead send issues via email to support@eureqatest.com, then please make a note of the change and start sending issues to the new email address.

For your convenience however, until the end of January 2023, any emails sent to support@eureqatest.com will be auto forwarded to the new support email address.

QaCONNECT REST API endpoints
The QaCONNECT REST API endpoints will change to incorporate the new domain name. The root for the endpoint will change from https://www.eureqatest.com/rest/ to https://www.web.worksoft.cloud/rest/.

Within your company, if you have implemented an integration via QaCONNECT REST APIs, any time after you receive a notification on November 12th that the release deployment is completed, your teams should make the changes to the REST API endpoints.

For your convenience however, until the end of January 2023, any calls made to the old QaCONNECT REST API endpoints will be automatically forwarded to the new endpoints.

Sender for Emails you receive from the SaaS platform
Moving forward, all emails that you receive from the eureQa SaaS platform will have the 'Sender' as noreply@worksoft.com (instead of info@eureqatest.com).

In case you stop receiving emails on Nov 12th, you should look in your 'Spam' folder and add the sender to the safe sender list.

We also encourage you to get your Infra teams to whitelist the worksoft.com domain for emails so that you do not have to add the new sender to your safe sender list.

Corporate Logo and Favicon change
The eureQa logo that appeared in numerous screens within the SaaS platform, the emails/Slack messages sent to you from the platform are replaced with the Worksoft corporate logo that you can see below.

In addition, the favicon for the SaaS platform is also changed to the one shown below.

Please note the images for the following components have NOT changed and will remain the same:

"eureQa AI/ML" replaced with "Worksoft AI/ML"
The term "eureQa AI/ML" that appeared in numerous screens within the SaaS platform is replaced with the term "Worksoft AI/ML" including the QaCONNECT REST API Docs page.

Details of changes to the services within QaCONNECT REST API
1. Service that you use to schedule test executions
  
  URL: https://www.web.worksoft.cloud/rest/v1/:domainname/executions
  
  If you currently use within the payload you send to this service the parameter 'eureQaAIMLOverrides' you must change the parameter name to 'worksoftAIMLOverrides’.
  
  Until the end of January 2023, for your convenience, the old parameter will be accepted. Therefore, it is important that you make the necessary changes to the payload, as applicable, as soon as possible.
2. Service that you use for the Scheduler (V2)
  
  URL: https://www.web.worksoft.cloud/rest/v2/{domainName}/executions/scheduler
  
  In this service there are no changes to the parameter names. However, there are a a couple of other change that you are expected to incorporate into the test cycle runner data file. In that data file there is an attribute called 'test_cycle_failed_test_triage_overrides' .
  
  You will store a json within the column of values in thew column of the data file that corresponds to that attribute. This json contains a parameter 'includeUserDefinedVariablesForeureQaAIMLOverrides’. It should be renamed to to 'includeUserDefinedVariablesForWorksoftAIMLOverrides'. The screenshot below shows the parameter within the json.
  
  Until the end of January 2023, for your convenience, the old parameter will be accepted. Therefore, it is important that you make the necessary changes to the payload, as applicable, as soon as possible.
3. Service that you use create test cycles
  
  URL: https://www.web.worksoft.cloud/rest/v1/:domainname/executions/testcycle
  
  If you currently use within the payload you send to this service the parameter 'eureQaAIMLOverrides' you must change the parameter name to 'worksoftAIMLOverrides’.
  
  Until the end of January 2023, for your convenience, the old parameter will be accepted. Therefore, it is important that you make the necessary changes to the payload, as applicable, as soon as possible.
4. Service that you use upload mobile applications
  
  URL: https://www.web.worksoft.cloud/rest/v1/:domainname/mobileapps
  
  If you currently use within the payload you send to this service the parameter 'eureQaIdentifierForMobileApp' you must change the parameter name to 'worksoftIdentifierForMobileApp'.
  
  Until the end of January 2023, for your convenience, the old parameter will be accepted. Therefore, it is important that you make the necessary changes to the payload, as applicable, as soon as possible.
5. Service that you use link/delink mobile applications to environments
  
  URL: https://www.web.worksoft.cloud/rest/v1/:domainname/mobileapps/environments
  
  If you currently use within the payload you send to this service the parameter 'eureQaIdentifierForMobileApp' you must change the parameter name to 'worksoftIdentifierForMobileApp'.
  
  Until the end of January 2023, for your convenience, the old parameter will be accepted. Therefore, it is important that you make the necessary changes to the payload, as applicable, as soon as possible.
6. Service that you use delete mobile applications previously uploaded

  If you currently use within the payload you send to this service the parameter 'eureQaIdentifierForMobileApp' you must change the parameter name to 'worksoftIdentifierForMobileApp'.
  
  Until the end of January 2023, for your convenience, the old parameter will be accepted. Therefore, it is important that you make the necessary changes to the payload, as applicable, as soon as possible.
Cloud Platform NamesI

As part of standardization Cloud Platform names are modified in the release. This is what you see in Add Testing Context screen and Add Testing Platform screen. Also the same will be reflected in the mouseover wherever the Cloud Platform shows (ex: Test Runs screen.) As for the functionality there won’t be any changes and you can continue performing executions as usual.
