Mobile App Testing :: Mapping Manual Test Case 1 to Test Scripts in Worksoft SaaS
This article is a part of the Self-paced Learning Series for the Course: First-Hand Experience of Worksoft SaaS.Please refer to the link for more details on the Course.
Mapping the Worksoft SaaS feature to the Course Context :: Lesson 3 :: Topic 1
1. Review Manual Test Case 1:
As per the Test Case 1, we need to test the functionality of the Health Insurance Cost Calculator to check if the AUT (Application Under Test - in this case, Health Insurance Cost Calculator) is able to perform calculations of the Test data (Age, Income, Zip Code) and match with the Expected Result.
2. Mapping Manual Test Case 1 to Test Scripts in Worksoft SaaS
Based on the Test Steps written in Test Case 1, we have categorized them into 2 Test Scripts using the concept of Granularity:
1. Test Script 2: Enters and Submits the input values for HICC and also calculates the Results
2. Test Script 3: Verifies the Actual Results with the Expected Results
3. Test Scripts, My Favorites, Script Library
In the next step, we will go to Worksoft SaaS and take a look at the Test Scripts in the 'Script Library' and in 'My Favorites'.
At this point, you should have already set up your Sandbox account, as instructed in the previous Module.
The 3 Test Scripts discussed above, have been pre-loaded into your Worksoft SaaS Sandbox account because we want to focus on experiencing how tests are executed in Worksoft SaaS, rather than creating the Test Script itself.
Once we're comfortable executing tests in Worksoft SaaS, we will then discuss in detail how these Test Scripts are created, in the later part of the course.

4. Practice:
Now, let's get into the Sandbox account and see how Test Scripts look like in Worksoft SaaS:
- Click Menu, and click Test Scripts.
- Click on 'Favorites'. You should be able to see 2 Test Scripts.
- Go to the 'Scripts Library' tab, here you will find a complete list of Test Scripts created under this Project.
