- New Commands that allow Test Scripts to Persist DataSets as JSON and XML Files into the "Files" module of your Project
This release offers you 2 additional powerful commands that would allow you to persist DataSets in a test's memory as new JSON or XML files into the "Files" module of your project OR as updates (overrides) to JSON and XML files that exist within the "Files" module of your project.
- ddPersistDataSetToXmlFile: This command is used to persist a DataSet in the test’s memory either as a new XML file or as an update (override) to an existing XML file into the “Files” module of your project. The name for the XML file has to be provided as part of the “Value” field and the “DataSet” must be provided in the “Target” field of the Test Instruction containing this command. - Informational Tooltips in the Test Scenario Assembly screens
You now have to the ability to see as tooltips the following information in the "Test Script Library" and the "Selected Tests" that are assembled into a Test Scenario:
- In the column captioned "Test Script", if the test script automation entity has a description, a description graphical icon will show and the tooltip on it will provide you the description of the test script.
- In the last column captioned "Product", the tooltip on the graphical icon will provide you details on the product type as well as the product name.
- In the column captioned "Bindings", the tooltip on the blue graphical icon that represents binding to definition attributes attributes will provide you the name of the data definition name.
- Ability to download Native Mobile Apps needed for the Training Course "Native Mobile App Automation with Worksoft SaaS"
In the Download Center, you will see a new component captioned "Worksoft Native App Downloader" that will allow you to download Worksoft’s native mobile applications that can be used by trainees taking the training courses related to automation of native mobile apps.
Currently there are iOS and Android flavors of 3 different versions (Production [v1.0], QA [v1.1] and Dev/Integration [v1.2]) for the “Health Insurance Cost Calculator” native mobile application that are available for you to download and use.
