Release Notes - 24 Jan 2023
- Simplified and enhanced workflow for setting up and managing Products (especially the native/hybrid mobile producst)
This release offers you a simpler workflow for setting up and managing products within your project. Functionally, several new features have been added that would benefit you in the context of products that you create in the context of native and hybrid mobile apps that you want to build test automation for within the SaaS platform.
Here are the key functional improvements:
- All the data entry needed for a product can be entered and managed from a single screen
- More than one mobile operating system can be selected to a single product that is set up to represent your native/hybrid mobile application. This will facilitate the creation of common test scripts that can be used in the context of test execution against iOS and Android devices.
- You can select an external cloud platform (Saucelabs or Browser Stack) onto which you want the native mobile apps you upload should be auto-pushed to, when your SaaS domain subscription gives you access to more than one external cloud.
- You can request (opt) for an email notification to be sent to you after the native mobile app you uploaded into a product gets auto-pushed to the external cloud platform (Saucelabs or Browser Stack). In addition, you will also get to see the pending status within the SaaS platform about such a propagation until the mobile app binary is successfully pushed to the external platform. If your native mobile app size is large, it may up to a minute or two for the native mobile app to be pushed to the external cloud platform.
