Release Notes - 8 May 2023
- New Search Parameter within the Test Cycles module
This release offers you the ability to filter the test cycles using the user(s) that created/scheduled test cycles within your project. You can do so by including in your search criteria the list of users that created/scheduled the test cycles you want to find within your project.
This feature will help you more easily narrow down the test cycles if you have more than one authorized users within your project that creates/schedules test cycles within your project.
- QaSCRIBE can not auto-record test instructions against apps built with Shadow DOM
Development of test automation against web applications that use Shadow DOM is a lot more easier with this release because QaSCRIBE has been enhanced to automatically capture test instructions against such apps.
There are specific types of interactions that will not be auto-captured, however. Please refer to this article for more details.
- Faster generation of Performance Reports
In this release, you will experience a significantly faster generation of the "Test Cycle Level Test Outcomes" and "Scheduling & Preprocessing" performance reports. Depending on the number of tests in your test cycles and the report hierarchy configured within your project, you could see a reduction of up to 40% in the test cycle report generation time.
You may recall that in the release of March 6th 2023, performance improvements were rolled out for the reports within the "Quality" pane. This release offers similar performance improvements for the reports within the "Performance" pane.
