Editing the Data Definition

If you want to make some edits to the attributes, you can double click in any cell within the grid online and make inline edits before you ‘Save’ the definition(s).

Worksoft SaaS can identify syntactical errors (blank or malformed attribute names) and some semantic errors (like duplicated attribute names) in your raw CSV import file and will make the rows with errors appear in red color as shown below. Even in this case, you can choose to either make inline edits to fix the errors in your data definition(s) OR fix it in your raw CSV import file and use the ‘Replace’ button and choose the new/modified CSV import file. 


When you mouse over the cell value in error, Worksoft SaaS will provide you the rule that is violated that need to be addressed before you are allowed to save the data definition(s).


Edit the existing Data Definition:

If you wish to edit the existing Data Definition, click on the edit icon of the particular definition, and perform the changes to the Name/Description/Attributes. After the modifications, you may choose to 'Save & Continue', 'Save & Exit', or 'Cancel' so that the changes that are performed gets reflected.
