1. Creating Operating System Groups and Users

There are no specific requirements that Worksoft SaaS expects you to follow in terms of operating system groups and users.
 
As per the best practices that you follow within your company, please create the appropriate Operating System groups and users before you install, configure and operate Worksoft SaaS dbCONNECT.

2. Checking the Hardware and Software Requirements

The system must meet the following minimum hardware requirements:

• RAM:           1 GB
• Hard Disk:   5 GB

The system must meet the following minimum software requirements:

• Operating System [Microsoft Windows (including 64-bit), Linux, Apple Mac OS X]
• JDK/JRE 1.7 update 131 or any higher version

You must ensure that the above-mentioned software is installed on the system(s) you want to install Worksoft SaaS dbCONNECT tunnel.

Worksoft SaaS dbCONNECT is certified to work with the following relational databases. Though Worksoft SaaS has not certified its use against databases beyond the ones mentioned below, most likely dbCONNECT will work well with other relational databases as well.
