• Integration of Jira with Worksoft SaaS Application

  Many of you might have been waiting for this feature which helps you to report issues directly from Worksoft SaaS during the automation. You can now integrate the Jira with Worksoft SaaS by completing an easy to follow configuration in the Worksoft SaaS domain. Once the set up is completed, you will be able to create/link/delink/search issues within Worksoft SaaS at each test run level. To get an overview of this powerful feature, click here.

• New Feature:: Annotations to the Worksoft SaaS Application

  Worksoft SaaS provides different ways of tagging failures. One of them is the Root Cause for Failure label that allows you to categorize failures under broad headings like "Application Defect", "Test Data" etc. To help users add more information, Worksoft SaaS has introduced a new feature called "Annotations" for a test run.

  

  You can add the annotation either through Worksoft SaaS application by using command "setAnnotationForTestRun" and in the test run results page (or) by using the QaCONNECT Service.

• New Commands:: storeContext and switchContext for switching between the contexts

  Currently during automating your tests, when you have a scenario of downloading the files in the mobile OS, a popup would be shown asking for the confirmation which limits you to download them as the switching to that context doesn't happen. To this, Worksoft SaaS provides two new commands 'storeContext' and 'switchContext' which allows you to store the context in a variable and use it for switching between the multiple contexts accordingly during the automation of your Application Under Test(AUT).

  These commands can be used only for the tests executed on Devices(All Applications).

• Productivity Improvement:: Enhancement to the QaSCRIBE Recording Wizard

  Currently, when you start automating the AUT(Application Under Test), you enter the Test Script name and select the available tabs from the dropdown or new tab where you manually key in the URL. From this release, you can see the three different options categorized under the 'New Tab'. To know more about these options, click here.

• Productivity Enhancement:: Additional options for Analytics module under My Project Settings
  

  Under the Analytics tab in the 'My Project Settings', few more options for viewing the generated Analytics reports of a specific test cycle and displaying the counts of the Run Definitions in the Analytics Dashboard are getting introduced in this release which is detailed here.
