Release Notes - 13 April 2020
New Features available for you to benefit from:Included in this release are the following features:
- Enhanced & Revamped version of the User-Defined Variables module
In Worksoft SaaS until this release, there is no concept of local variables. If any User-Defined Variable (UDV) is updated by a user using the Worksoft SaaS application, the same is reflected for all users. At times this has thrown certain challenges for the user especially while doing executions in the local browser or while debugging a test run failure. Not any more. In this release, we introduce "My Workspace" that will allow you to update any UDV and keep it local for your purpose.
To show the User-Defined Variables in a much effective way and with more options added to it, an enhanced version of the User-Defined Variables module is available for you. You can enjoy significant benefits from this.
It has two different tabs named "Environments" and "My Workspace". You can copy the values from one environment to another environment or to "My Workspace" and use those values of the UDV during the local or cloud executions. These are the specific values set by you and also set the default settings in the "My Project Settings for User-Defined Variables module"

- Issue Store to report & store the issues locally and adding Annotations to the local issues
You are already familiar with the Jira Integration which came live a few months ago. In this release, Worksoft SaaS introduces "Issue Store", a feature that allows you to create and maintain AUT issues within Worksoft SaaS. To know how to start using this feature, click here.
An interesting benefit/feature that Worksoft SaaS offers with issues created in Worksoft SaaS is to use its AI/ML routines to tag similar failures in future Test Cycles to the issue and thereby reduce the manual effort needed for triaging failures.
Along with the feature, Worksoft SaaS allows you to link annotations to the local issues. You can click here to read more about this feature.
- Enhancements to the Analytics module supporting the auto-triage of the local issues
In this release, the Analytics module is enhanced to account for the changes related to the Issue Store. The local issues which are created for the failed tests can be viewed in the "Consolidated Triage Report" showing up at the Test Cycle Level in Analytics page.
In the Transactions Detail Report, you can view the new attributes added under a section called “Bug Triage Details” in the “Test_Cycle_Transaction_Log” sheet which details the Issue Key(s), Issue Last Linked On & By and Issue Summary information along with “Predict AutoRCF Label Accuracy(%)” under “Failure Root Cause Labels” section.

QaCONNECT Analytics service is enhanced to choose these additional fields in the custom report. These additional attributes support includes the local issues related information.
