Follow the instructions below to move a Test Run from one Test Cycle to another from "Execution Details" screen.
  1. Navigate to the 'Execution Details' screen of the Test Run.

You would see a Test Cycle icon like depicted below in front of the Test Run Id (Key):
  2.

You will instead see a gray(ed out) Test Cycle icon in front of the "Test Run Id (Key)" if your Test Run was not yet assigned to any Test Cycle yet.

  3. Hover on the Test Cycle icon.

Mousing over on the icon will give you the details about the Test Cycle:

    • Test Cycle Identifier
    • Status of the Test Cycle (Open or Closed)
    • Description of the Test Cycle, if available
    • Planned Window Time
    • Actual Window Time
    • UserNotes (If any)
    • User that assigned the Test Run to the cycle
    • Datetime when such an assignment/linkage was done

On this mouseover dialog, on the top right-hand side, you will see two different icons.

The first icon, if clicked, will take you to the Test Cycles home screen.

  4. To move the Test Run in context to a different Test Cycle, you must click on the 2nd icon.

A dialogue box with the title "Assign Test Cycle to this Test Run" pops up.

Select the Test Cycle (Identifier) from the list of available identifiers and click "Save".
Your Test Run is now moved from one Test Cycle to a different Test Cycle.
