Binding Your file to a Test Script
The Worksoft SaaS feature- Files, provides the user a flexibility to upload files in an application during automation.
Following are the steps to bind the file to a Test Script.
- Edit the Test Script
- Edit/Add the command 'type' wherever the file upload has to be performed in the test case flow.
- Enter a value in bind file input field ( as shown below).
- Save the Test Script. Immediately after the edit is saved, the value of the saved instruction is shown bound to file.
Create and Validate a Run Definitions, you can select the file in the Bind Data screen from the drop-down which shows the list of all the uploaded files in that project.
The selected file is seen during the Test Run execution.
